The nucleus of this special collection was a gift from Helen Louise Allen. Generous support over the years has resulted in a growing collection that now includes more than 4,000 books, pamphlets and journals. A bequest from the estate of Ruth Ketterer Harris doubled the library's holdings and in 1993, integrated the collection within the School of Human Ecology. The library is cataloged in the UW-Madison's electronic library system. |
The Harris Library's hours for the Fall 2009 term are M-W 10-5:30 and Th 11:30-5:30.
Library hours vary each semester. If you need information please call 608-262-0600.
