Since Helen Louise Allen’s founding gift of some 4,000 textiles in 1968, the collection that bears her name has grown to number 13,000 pieces strong. This growth has come about very largely through private donations of treasured textiles.

We are unable to accept new pieces into the HLATC during our relocation period. Once we are in our new home we will again welcome such opportunities to enhance our holdings.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause our would-be benefactors and ask your patience with the process of creating a greatly enhanced environment in which to house and display textile art for generations to come.
